CELEBRATION OF DEATH COMES TO USA DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION

The USA Planned Parenthood abortion business has killed 25 babies by offering free abortions so far at the Democrat convention. Colleen McNicholas, the CEO confirmed the figure in an interview with the New York Post. While organizers claimed the stunt was “not political,” they said the message behind the offer was to promote reproductive healthcare (???) accessibility and garner headlines. “We knew that there were going to be lots of people coming to Chicago from outside of Illinois, and again we just wanted to highlight that Illinois is a great example of how if you centre healthcare (???) policy that is based in science and evidence and puts people before politics then we can really start meeting the needs of the folks in the state,” she added.
But the claim is false. Killing babies is literally the opposite of health care and something that pro-life leader Lila Rose lamented. She responded: “Planned Parenthood staff is saying that so far they did 25 free abortions. 25 helpless lives have been sacrificed so far at the DNC death cult. There are no words to express the sheer horror.” [Source: LifeNews.com]

LIVE BABIES ARE STILL LEFT TO DIE IN AUSTRALIA FOLLOWING ABORTION
For the second year, the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL) organised a peaceful demonstration outside Canberra Parliament today to honour the thousands of babies who are left to die without care after surviving an abortion. Wendy Francis, ACL’s National Director of Politics said, “This is a very special installation seeking to demonstrate the reality of little baby feet that should be filling these beautiful booties, but instead have had their lives cut cruelly and violently short. “Over 5,000 pairs of booties were sent in from all around Australia – from Year 9 and 10 girls in Albany, Western Australia; from brave women who have experienced their own sadness through abortion and from social groups. Galaxy Polling shows that the majority of Australians do not support late term abortion. (73% oppose late term abortions after 23 weeks) . They are horrified when they learn that many late term abortions result in a live baby who is left to die without any medical or palliative care.
“Speakers at the Baby Booties demonstration included Senators Matt Canavan and Ralph Babet who have co-signed a bill with Senator Alex Antic titled Human Rights (Babies Born Alive Protection) Bill. Following a senate committee examination of the bill, no recommendations were made, either for or against the bill, and no amendments were circulated.” The ACL will continue to advocate for those without a voice and we call upon the Senate to re-examine the bill before them and pass it so-as to protect every Australian. CHRISTIAN ASTRONAUTS LEAN ON THEIR FAITH WHILE STRANDED IN SPACE
The world is watching and waiting as NASA works to get two stranded astronauts home from space. The Boeing Starliner is on hold due to thruster failures and helium leaks. NASA Chief Astronaut Joe Acaba says the team continues to search for answers. “I do want to put this into perspective. If Butch (Wilmore) and Suni (Williams) do not come home on Starliner and they are kept aboard the station, they will have about eight months on orbit,” said Acaba. That means no likely return until next year. We’re also seeing faith at work as the rescue effort proceeds. NASA Astronaut Barry Wilmore and test pilot Suni Williams should have returned from their mission weeks ago. As fellow Christians pray for their safety, Wilmore, a longtime church elder, and Williams both have the important treasure of faith with them in outer space.
As for the families of Williams and Wilmore, neither are concerned and expect a later return. Wilmore’s wife Deanna recently said her husband is content under the circumstances, knowing the Lord is in control. [Source: CBN News]

CHRISTIAN VIGOUR IN NEPAL
Christian ministries in Nepal continue to expand and see much fruit. The extensive work of Scripture Union, besides equipping thousands of Christians across the country with daily Bible reading materials, also runs many camps and conventions for children, youths and adults. These have varying emphases, such as evangelism, discipleship training and prayer. A tuition centre has been recently established to help disadvantaged children with schooling, while other ministries include feeding the hungry and catering for children at risk. Amid all this activity there is a great need to train and equip people for leadership and active involvement in church life. [Source: Scripture Union]

BANGLADESH’S HILL TRIBE REGIONS
Religiously, the indigenous peoples of Bangladesh’s hill tribes are mainly Buddhist or Christian and have more in common with their ethnic kin in northeast India than with the Bengali Muslims of  Bangladesh’s lowlands. Although the government of Bangladesh is Muslim, it fears that these remote hill regions may become a base for Islamic militants and has launched military offensives across the region. While this has had only limited success against Islamists, it has driven hundreds of Christians across the border into the north-eastern Indian state of Mizoram, which already is bulging with Christian refugees from Myanmar. While the Mizoram Christians are eager to assist their kin from neighbouring countries, India’s national government in Delhi is not, and had ordered its Border Guard Forces to push the refugees back. Christians who once lived peaceably in Bangladesh’s mountain regions can do so no longer, and yearn for the day when they can occupy an independent region. [Source: Religious Liberty]

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
Almost two-thirds of the people of Trinidad and Tobago identify as Christians, but as elsewhere in the Caribbean, true disciples of Jesus Christ are not so common. Many people are only nominal Christians and others have beliefs that are mixed with occult practices or Hindu worldviews. Family life and morals often do not reflect true Christianity. Mainline denominations are in decline, and while newer independent groups are livelier, they often need better biblical teaching and more enlightened outreach. The nation has a high proportion of children and youth, who, if discipled for Jesus Christ, can help build a better future. Some good Christian work is being done in schools and universities.
